Financial Future in the Toilet

President Bush warned Tuesday that failing to pass a financial rescue plan would bring severe consequences to the U.S. economy. "Congress must act," he declared in an appeal that John McCain and Barack Obama echoed.

Bush also warned that, "if our nation continues on this course, the economic damage will be painful and lasting."
I mean I really don't understand how this situation is the peoples fault. These people on Wall Street and all those big banks are the blame for this shhh and we suppose to slide them some money..Wow! And we are over in Iraq helping them rebuilt their country even with the billions of dollars in surplus the company possess.. What's wrong with this picture people, why is it that we help other countries in need but no one is rushing to help us?

Help Big Brother out now!

The President said his administration would work with congressional leaders to get the defeated $700 billion relief package back on track. The House voted 228-205 Monday against the bill designed to stabilize a reeling financial system. That triggered the biggest one-day sell-off on Wall Street since the 2001 attacks, as the Dow Jones industrial plummeted by 778 points. Both McCain and Obama called on lawmakers in their parties to stay at work until an acceptable plan is assembled. "Because the government would be purchasing troubled assets and selling them once the market recovers," he said, "it is likely that many of the assets would go up in value over time. Ultimately, we expect that much - if not all - of the tax dollars we invest will be paid back."

So here we go again... This crisis began with companies gambling with their money and now the government will gamble the tax payers money to help them in hopes of helping us in the end... Please help me to understand this method?

T.I.'s Swagg is Untouchable

TI's birthday party: The Untouchables Part Deux @ the Biltmore was one of the hottest events in Atlanta this past weekend. Attendees included Jazzy Pha, Young Dro, T-Boz, Kevin Liles and other fashionably chic individuals. T.I. was never far from his ride or die chick, Tiny, the whole night. I understand that T.I. loves his baby mamma but please why let her come out the house looking like hot garbage. All that money he's making and she comes out like this, WTF. Even with the Herve Leger bandage dress it's just all hella wrong! Just a little tip T.I.P get your baby mamma....

Richard Collier paralyzed

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier who was shot while sitting in a car outside a Florida apartment building earlier this month is paralyzed with a amputated left leg. He suffered 14 bullet wounds to his back, left groin and leg also his right buttock. A bullet severed his spinal cord, blood clots formed in his left leg and groin resulted in the paralysis and amputation. Collier will undergo physical therapy to learn how to move from his bed to a wheelchair.

"He has extreme grief for a lifetime of dreams he won't be able to fulfill," his agent said.

Life is so precious people we have to take advantage of everything life has to offer, in a positive way, since we never know what's in store for the future!

May god bless him and his family.

High Heel Platforms.. In or Out??

While watching clips from Milan Fashion Week I noticed that high Platform heels are going to be the trend for the Summer 2009. Here’s a look at Prada’s Spring/Summer 2009 showcase.
The models shoes are so scary looking trying hopelessly not to fall… Please don’t fall.

OOOPS she fell...

Elections! Yes We Can!!!!!

O.k. so the elections are right around the corner and I can hardly wait. I am actually very excited about this years presidential race. This here is history in the making and no one would have ever dreamed of the day when a black man would be the president of this united state well somewhat united.

If you heard about the rumor that candidate t-shirts or accessories of a campaign matter may get you turned away... It's not true.. Well not in Maryland. You need to check your local Election Board for further explanation.

Joe Camel

What the fuck is this? Why?Which? I mean any questions that may be asked I honestly have no clue.. Jay making money though so I guess the jokes on who?

My favorite Song at the Moment

Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam, better known as the rapper M.I.A., put out a really dope album this year, Kala, one of the freshest joints I’ve heard in a minute. Her sound is really hard to classify, in a culture that loves to classify and categorize everything. But nonetheless Paper Planes is fire! Read more on M.I.A.

Passion for Fashion

Here's a few pics that caught my eye today:

I sometimes ask myself why do I constantly think about fashion whether its clothing, jewelry, shoes, accessories, hats... etc. I mean I feel like I breath nothing but Fashion. I am a true Fashionista and its not something you can create its something living deep down in my soul. If you know any Fashionista out there congratulate them for their special fashion presence.

Gucci Ready to Wear Fall Collection 2008

I see the colored tights will be it during the upcoming chilly days. I always loved black tights and I see my favorite line feel the same as I do. Here are a few of my favorite pieces:

Chester Molester R.Kelly

I know the man has been cleared of all charges but I myself saw the tape and that was R.Kelly. As far as the young lady goes I don't know her or her age but that was him for sure. I think most older men love young girl and vise verse but the problem is when the youngin is too young. If a 40 year old man wants to have sex with a 16 year old girl then he has a problem. Something is mentally wrong with him and he needs help. I think people are so caught up in the fact that he's a celebrity they forget the severity of the offense. Now let's say the same incident occurred with an average Joe then the world would be condemning his actions. "Oh my god he pissed on a young girl, he deserves to die"!Crazy!

Here's R.Kelly's interview on BET

Plies coming to the Fur

If you are a Plies fan like me then you might want to know that he's coming back to the Fur this Friday, September the 19th. I really enjoyed the last time he was here in D.C. performing alongside The Backyard band. It was a packed event with the lines wrapped around the club. So many faces and so many imitations lol!!

Fashion Police!!

I can see the government saying we can't walk around here completely naked but when they step in to tells us what's fashionably appropriate then we have a problem. I've heard about this for some time and really thought it was a joke but it's actually occurring in come U.S. cities.
Truthfully the trend is targeting black youths and it an outright violation of your civil rights. People don't allow this to happen! Now while I don't like it when a man pants are hanging low and his boxers are showing I feel it's their personal decision.
It's no different then women with the low rise pants, instead of seeing boxers you see butt crack (Ugh!). Next minute we won't be able to show cleavage, legs, arms, feet, etc.. There are too many issues in our society that are more important than pursuing an issue so petty it's pathetic.
