For my D.C. natives if you were in the city this weekend I hope you made it to The 17th Annual Stone Soul Picnic at the RFK Staduim. I really enjoyed this weekend D.C. you all really represented for your city and it was a great celebration, with performances from Jazmine Sullivan, Solange, Chuck Brown and others not to mention it was a free event.
The Stone Soul Picnic is an annual event that has been held in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area since 1991. Radio One's founder Dr. Cathy Hughes created this event as a way to say thanks and to give something back to the community.
