Two down Three to Go

Well it looks like Diddy has a plan for the group Danity Kane and it doesn't seem to include Aubrey or D.Woods. On the season finale of Makin the Band Diddy dropped the bomb on viewers stating he was dismissing the two girls... Ef you..Ef you.. Who's next

Rodney King- 15 Years later

Rodney King was beaten by L.A. county police officers and the incident was videotaped by a man named George Holliday, who lived nearby, the tape sent shockwaves around the world and enrage the already frustrated Los Angeles African American community, which felt that racial profiling and abuse by the police had long gone unchecked. The officers would later stand trial for the malicious beating of Mr. King.

Once the four officers accused in the beating were acquitted a year later by a predominantly white jury in the majority white suburb of Simi Valley, all hell broke loose on April 29, 1992, and before the smoke cleared a few days later,53 people were dead and $1 billion in damage reported.

He won $3.8 million in damages from the City of Los Angeles for the beating incident, but much of it went into starting a rap record label, Straight Alta-Pazz Records, which soon folded. Over the next several years, he was arrested for various charges, including convictions for drunk driving and domestic abuse. He moved from Los Angeles to suburban Rialto to live quietly with his family. He doesn't like to speak about the most Memorable American incident that much.

"He was really desperately trying to rise above it and put the incident behind him," says his most recent attorney, Renee Campbell. "Rodney has this wonderful personality, he's always looking for the good part of life. He's simply a very nice man caught in a very unfortunate situation."

In his famous phrase... Can't we all just get along!

Beyonce visits TRL

It looks like Beyonce is pulling all the stops to try and stay relevant in the music world. She stopped by TRL yesterday without her lacefront, little to no makeup or jewelry. I must say that this look here is not a Beyonce look but more of a Solange look. Or maybe this isn't Beyonce at all it's probably Sasha, her alter ego, playing tricks on us... By the way Beyonce new album has been confirmed to be a double disc cd, one for Sasha and one for Bey, with no colabo's. She's also slated to perform on TRL last on air show, so check her out!

Here's Beyonce's inspiration for the Single Ladies video

Diddy up to his old Tricks

Well Well Well... I was really shocked to hear that Diddy not only dropped Aubrey from Danity Kane but also D.Woods as well. And the reason for the latter was since she was such a good friend to Aubrey...Boloney you ask me. I can't say that I trust Diddy anymore, he lost his flame when BIG passed and since then nothing but wackness.. Damn shame this man really feels he's relevant but hey whatever pay the bills I guess.

Breaking up is so Hard to Do!!!

According to some british tabloids Madonna marriage is in its final hour and an announcement will soon follow.. Stay tune!

UPDATE: Well it looks as if the rumors were true... The Material girl and her fella are spliting after 8 years of marriage. Hopefully they can seperate amicably without a fuss, you know since the couple are reportedly worth some $525 million, the bulk of that belonging to Madonna. Ritchie has an estimated $35 million fortune. Good Luck!

What's in your Bottle?

It’s been drilled in our heads for years that bottled water is so much better for you than tap water. Even with all the yucky stuff found in tap water is bottle water any better? According to a recent study some bottled water has the same and in some cases more contaminants than tap with 10 times the cost. Whoever came up with the idea to charge ridiculous amounts for something we all can very well get for free. It’s insane that we have fallen victim to the myth and constant lies in our society.

Researchers tested one batch for each of 10 brands. Eight did not have contaminants high enough to warrant further testing. But two brands did, so more tests were done and those revealed chlorine byproducts above California's standard, the group reported. The researchers identified those two brands as Sam's Choice sold by Wal-Mart and Acadia of Giant Food supermarkets.

The researchers also said the Wal-Mart brand was five times California's limit for one particular chlorine byproduct, bromodichloromethane. The environmental group wants Wal-Mart to label its bottles in California with a warning because the chlorine-based contaminants have been linked with cancer. It has filed a notice of intent to sue.

Wal-Mart said its own studies did not turn up illegal levels of contaminants. Giant Food officials released a statement asserting that Acadia meets all regulatory standards. Acadia is sold in the mid-Atlantic states, so it isn't held to California's standard. In most places, bottled water must meet roughly the same federal standards as tap water.

So where will your next drink come from?
